As the new owner of Caking Mad Alison is delighted to offer the same ongoing service and commitment to quality you've come to expect from our wonderful shop.
We continue to offer a range of classes carried out in a small friendly workshop environment to suit a range of skill levels. Specialist international demonstrators are regularly invited for advanced hands on classes teaching the latest designs and techniques.
We specialise in custom designed, hand crafted cakes for all occasions including birthdays, weddings, Christmas, Easter, engagements... in fact any special occasion requiring cake. Just remember my motto "It's not a party unless there's cake!" We use a combination of tried and tested recipes handed down from the generations of great family cooks, new modern recipes, as well as some bakery recipes that are available on request. I use quality fresh ingredients at all times ensuring the best possible outcome for your cake order. I am happy to discuss any special dietary needs such as Gluten Free options.
